Recently, I went to a birthday party with my beautiful daughter and we had a truly amazing time. She got to hang out with her cousins and her friends, dance and sing, swim in the hot tub, eat pizza, chips, and junk food, and be her happy, joyful, and wonderful self. The birthday party was at the Hilton near the LAX Airport and they were having a dance convention so the place was packed. When I originally arrived I saw the sign for parking that said $50+ for parking and I said to myself I’ma have to figure out how to get this validated cuz Lord knows I ain’t got it today.
So you fast-forward 10 hours later and I still didn’t figure out how I was gonna get outta this parking lot. I had about 12 dollars to my name and none of my attempts to get the ticket validated were successful. So now is where delusion becomes faith in practice. I put my baby girl in her car seat and drove up to the gate. When I scanned the ticket it said $59 dollars for the parking so I pressed the Help button. There was a hispanic brother that answered and as I was trying to think of a creative lie, something deep within me said NO MORE LIES XAVIER, YOUR TRUTH IS ALL YOU NEED. So I simply said, “Hey I was here for a birthday party and I was not prepared to pay $59 dollars to park can I get some help?” They then sent a young man who came and asked, “Hey you’ve been here since 12:30 is there anyone you can call to send the money?” I told him, “If there was someone I could call, I wouldn’t have called you. You are the guy, can you help me? I got my daughter with me and I’m just trying to get her home.” He then looked in the backseat, swiped his keycard, and said have a great day.
After we left the parking lot I told my daughter something that I want to tell everyone reading this. I said, “Joy, never ever be afraid to ask for help. If you need anything, no matter what it is, always ask for it.” She said ok daddy and then went on a rant asking me about 15 questions in a row before she fell asleep in delirium. My mentor and dear friend Diane Mitchell-Henry told me that ASK is an acronym for Ask, Seek, Knock. This wisdom is found at Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Like most of the modern day millennials, I have studied manifestation techniques, and I want to share some gems that I’ve picked up during my Earthly travels. You don’t just get what you ask for, if it was that simple everyone, everywhere would have everything. James 4:3 says “You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.” Remember this, PROPER MOTIVATION LEADS TO MANIFESTATION. I had my daughter with me and I needed to get her home, so if need be I woulda ran that parking barrier over and dealt with the consequences. If you really want something then it is important that you truly consider your ask. Ask yourself questions, “Why do I want *****?” “What am I going to do with *****?” “When do I want ****** by?” When you start asking yourself questions about your desires then you can decide if what you desire is actually your desire, or if your desire is something much deeper.
For instance, Don’t ask for a car when you really want a car so you can impress a woman. Ask for a loving, kind, patient, passionate, and beautiful woman instead. Don’t ask for money when really you want freedom. Ask for wisdom to be able to turn whatever you have into everything you need in all situations. Don’t just ask for a family, ask for discernment in picking a mate to have a family with. Some people that believe that they are experiencing fertility issues are actually experiencing spiritual incompatibility issues. You see here that the ASK is more important than the DESIRE. Assume that you get everything you ask for, so sometimes we ask for something and by the time we get what we asked for we no longer want it because it is now worthless. If our ask are aligned spiritually then however and whenever they manifest it will always be “right on time” because things asked for in spirit will always have value.
We are all magical beings. Fire + Water + Air + Earth + Spirit all combined together to make each of us. You can read all the books, and meditate for hours, light candles, practice religious rituals, and put in all the effort you deem necessary, but the truth is, you don’t need magic or manifestation techniques to create any desire. If you really want something it doesn’t even have to make sense to anyone but you. When you get a chance read Matthew 21:18-22 and you see that even a petty & fleeting motivation such as hunger can be enough motivation to cause reality to shift instantly. Jesus got mad at a fig tree because he was hungry and there was no fruit on the tree, so he cursed the tree and it withered up. The lesson here is not to learn how to destroy nature, but to express clearly how truly powerful your motivations can alter things in this dimension. Here’s your exercise, think of something that you truly desire and assume that it is done. Either Jesus was a delusional maniac or one of the wisest humans to ever walk the face of the planet. Regardless of your thoughts about the historical accuracy, we can learn a lot from these divine messianic examples of how to live in alignment with Earth and with Cosmic Wisdom.
